The nanny Course curriculum is developed by devoted child care educators specializing in early childhood education and child development. The intensive hands-on, 1-day training runs over 9 hours and you will receive a Professional Nanny qualification certificate after completion. Focuses on a variety of important child care topics from child health & safety, communication with child and parents, developing age appropriate activities etc. Student nannies will learn care essentials for older infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, early school age including nutrition, handling tantrums, professionalism, education, redirecting, developing routines and healthy habits, positive reinforcement, potty training and more.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Training is for both experienced and inexperienced Nannies, Au Pairs, Babysitters, Child Care Providers, Daycare Teachers, or anyone who will care for young toddlers thru early school age children professionally. Classes are held in English. This class is a non-medical child care class and will not prepare for work in a medical facility. This course is appropriate for those currently working as a nanny and those who would like to work as a nanny. This class goes beyond basic babysitter safety training and is appropriate for professional development but it is not a parenting class. Class space is limited so early registration is recommended to ensure the class of your choice.

PREREQUISITES/REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age or older to attend and have some childcare experience. You must speak fluent English to attend
