All Nannies and Au-pairs have informative and complete profiles containing:
- Cvs/letter
- Interview notes/Application form
- Pictures
- References, Medical/Police check
- ID
We only send you candidates that we like and recommend so the ones sent to you will already be shortlisted and most likely a good match. We recommend that you interview all candidates you like the look of (tell us and we will arrange). Alot of the candidates are BETTER in life than on paper.
TIP: why not use a webcam for the interview if the nanny/aupair isn't in the UK, it makes it even more personal and is easy enough to set up. Your kids can prob help too

TIPS for the best profile
We never expect you to compromise on what really matters but try and be as flexible as you can with your requirements. There are always a lot of candidates out there but also many families looking for help and the best candidates tend to have a few options to choose from. Outline whats very important to you but please compromise where you can. Be realistic. Work out what is most important for your family.
Au-pair families: The dates can make a big difference, if you can be flexible about start date and duration of stay, this will really increase your chances of finding the right au pair quickly!
Nanny families: Usually its hard for you to be flexible but say for example if you have a very tight schedule then maybe you can compromise on something else? Pay a little extra, offer an added benefit?
Write as much as possible, about yourself, your family, your friends, your job, your pets, your hobbies and interests, likes/dislikes, your home, your town, your region, what sort of work/study you do, how much childcare experience you are looking for etc..
Describe your expectations of the role that the aupair/nanny will play in your family and the accommodation if the role is live in.
Show advantages! Make sure you clearly state all the positive selling points of joining your family. This can include the distance to the nearest station, nanny networks/language school or the centre of town, use of the car in their spare time, learning to play tennis/ride a horse/sail a yacht, or simply the fact that there is a lot to do and there are many other au pairs in your area. Ask your friends and family, they may be able to contribute.
