Advance bookings are highly recommended. Our Maternity nurses get booked up to 9 months ahead of time. We do however always have emergency people available for trouble shooting or temp cover on short notice.
Peek-a-boo Maternity division offers junior maternity nurses and trainee maternity nurses at discounted prices for those happy to use a recently qualified maternity nurse from our MBA (Maternity and Baby Academy)
Salaries vary according to age, experience, location and whether they are responsible for a single baby, twins or triplets. These salaries are a guideline only.
24hour rate for a single baby: £130-£150 (£750-£900 per week)
24hour rate for multiple births:£160-£200 (£975 + per week)
Junior and trainee Maternity nurses: £100 and up per 24 hrs (enquire within)
Night nanny: £10 per hour, £80-120 per night
Hourly salary for trouble shooting or other: £12-18
We are aware that these types of carers don't come cheap but their support and guidance is often invaluable and will make your's and your babies first few weeks/months extra enjoyable.
Maternity nurses and night nannies are self employed and work on a freelance basis the vast majority of time. Maternity nurses and night nannies salaries are gross and they are responsible for their own tax and national insurance contributions. We offer free maternity nurse contracts for our clients after booking one of our maternity nurses or you can buy one in our online store.
