Our procedure

If you have decided that Aupair USA is for you and you fit into the requirements of the program. Then it’s  time to start filling out your application. Please take your time! It’s important that you get it right. Please note that we can and will only process complete applications so make sure that you have read and understood all the paperwork.

1. Once we have received your application we will contact you regarding the intevriew with us. We will at this stage also check your references and make sure that they are all good.

2. The interview with us will be held in person, usually in our central London offices but sometimes in Somerset or in Yorkshire.The interview will take approximately 45-60 minutes and we will during this time ask you questions and ensure that you are suitable for the Au-pair programme. We will also do a quick psychological test on you. Its all very informal. The cost of the interview is £50 plus VAT and it's non refundable.

3. Hopefully we will now have accepted you to the programme with us and send you details off to the NYC head office and they will in turn start matching you with families. We will send you family suggestions and you will make yourself available to speak to them and check your emails regularly.

4. Once we have matched you with a family we will contact you to arrange the visa, international drivers licence, flight and give you further arrival details for the orientation in NYC. At this stage we will also take your payment (£500+VAT)
