Pediatric first aid course

Course location: Our offices on 14 King Street, near to Bank station, London (parking available at the weekend or check tfl.gov.uk for travel on the tube or other)

Course info:
The 1 day course is held on a monthly basis and is suitable for nannies and aupairs plus over 8's childminders who wish to register with Ofsted. All child-carers should renew their paediatric first aid training at least every 3 years. This course covers all the necessary requirements for registration on the Ofsted Voluntary register which many Nannies and Aupairs are now opting to do so that their employers can get tax credits. Your employer may well be willing to pay for your first aid certificate so check in with them.

The OCR required syllabus covers such topics as:
- First Aid Priorities / Dealing with an Emergency
- Choking
- Resuscitation (CPR) - Child and Baby
- Anaphylaxis
- Bleeding and Shock
- Burns & Scalds
- Eye & Ear injuries
- Fractures
- Childhood illnesses including Meningitis and Febrile Convulsions

Those delegates who complete the course are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.
Course fee is only £100+VAT

Course instructions:

•  The Course is held in our offices. Please enquire what floor when booking.
•  We have two slots: 9am-1pm and 2pm-6pm (Please make sure you arrive approximately at least ten minutes early to make sure you don't miss the start.)
•  Lunch break when you can stay and network or go out and get food
•  We will provide snacks and coffee/tea.
•  Course participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and we kindly request that you do not wear lipstick as this can stain the training manikins.
•  Please note that this event is non refundable so please try and make sure you are actually able to attend on the date you book.

We need to receive payment up front and we do not accept cancellations, but we can try and swap dates if you need to.

Prices:

MBA's maternity courses: each module costs £160+ VAT but if you book all 4 of them in one go then you will get a 20% discount.

Core Skills for Ofsted: £160 plus VAT

MBA's Baby Massage courses: £150 plus VAT or discounted with other bookings

MBA's-Nanny courses: 1 day: £300 plus VAT

Au-pair induction:  Accomodation: £250, no accomodation: £200 plus VAT

Prices for the first aid course: £100+VAT
